I will be participating on a panel at the Ad 2 event “San Diego Marketing and Advertising Educational Programs” tonight. I will be joined by Facebook app blogger and friend Rodney Rumford, Aaron Kahlow, Event Moderator and Chair of the Online Marketing Summit, Matt Beckman, Director of Media Sales, Active Network and Jake Fields, President & Creative Director of Treeline Interactive.I plan  to focus my conversation on personal brand management as it relates to social capital and some tips and trips of how to aggregate your brand online. More information about the event and my fellow panelists is on the Ad 2 San Diego website.

It’s only a month away and we’re getting ready for our 2nd Annual Earth Day Beach Cleanup! Tuesday, April 22 at 10:30 am we’re meeting at Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach for a day to clean up our beloved coast and be thankful to live in such a beautiful city! We all love our San Diego beaches, so come be a part of dt’s Earth Day cleanup and show how much you care!
Thanks to the Surfrider Foundation, gloves and bags for cleanup will be provided to all volunteers!

Austin is a great city, the food, the people the weather (except in summer). I enjoy my trip there each time no matter what’s in store. I’ve been there countless times before but never for the biggest Music, Film and Tech festival America can muster up! And while the week there like a stiff drink equal parts education equal parts party there is a lot to learn for a South-By-newbie. Here’s my list what to remember and what to watch for:

I am not the best example of a person who likes to get involved in charity work I have little personal experience with. Breast Cancer? I am so there, but I know people that have/ had breast cancer. I have walked for Lymphoma, but I lost a friend to it. I am a big advocate for Save the Music and any music related charities, but I am directly involved in the music community. Continue Reading
