Doodle: An Amazingly Simple Polling System

I have a big family, and more often than not I end up being dubbed the coordinator, the guy to get things done and plan everything. If you are anything like me you do not like calling up a plethora of people to try and find “the best time” for everyone, only to get back a myriad of answers and then try to put them together to see what works best for all.

That is why I use Doodle instead. It is a polling system, and that is it. You name your poll, add a description, slap in some dates or choices to your liking and then create. You can then forward your unique poll URL to all the people you want to participate.

Doodle is amazingly simple to use, everyone can get it, even my technology challenged father. It is free and does not require you to sign up or login for anything. All the choices are totaled and the top choice is displayed in the summary, no need for you to figure out what time, what day, what location works best for everyone. You can add comments to each poll created, so all communication can be kept in one place.
