Sxipper - Man’s Best Friend for 2007

Sxipper LogoSo the guys over at Sxip Identity Corporation have done it this time. Not only are they pushing the envelope with their theories on “identity 2.0″, but now they are putting it to good use. I downloaded Sxipper today and what do you know, it doesn’t disappoint. It allows you to either drag and drop your vCard or manually input your information into the setup process. Then as you enter pages that present forms, it overlays the form fields and pre-populates your information. Sounds pretty boring, doesn’t Firefox already do this, yadda yadda? Well, sure, but now it also identifies your user name and password for every website you have a profile on and as you enter those login pages, it overlays the correct user name and you just one-click to login, presto! I think that’s pretty cool. The last thing I’d like to note is that you have the opportunity to input various personas. So let’s say you need to log into Basecamp, you use your business persona. You need to log into Amazon, you use your private persona because you have credit card info. You need to log into your Myspace profile, you use your play persona because you better not be playing at work! So test out Sxipper today and check out the FAQ section is he/she acts up, you never know with these domesticated apps, what could happen next.
