The Google Base blog announced that they are allowing you to create AdWords ads for individually posted items in Google Base, right from the Google Base edit item page. You create the ad copy and Google will use your content and geo information to automatically target the appropriate keywords and geographic users for the items you are selling on Google Base. It also notes that if you are a current Google Adwords advertiser, it associates the Googlebase listing within your Adwords account as well. If you’ve ever been in Google Base, you know you can find anything. It’s very similar to a Comparison Shopping Engine…hmm? Maybe that’s the point.
